FISCALLY SPONSORED PROJECTS

The Helena Area Community Foundation (HACF) offers fiscal sponsorship opportunities to select projects that aim to enhance the greater Helena area. This initiative allows community-focused projects to benefit from HACF’s tax-exempt status, facilitating fundraising and grant-seeking efforts.

Importantly, the fiscal sponsorship monies are designated solely for the sponsored projects and are not for HACF’s discretionary use. This ensures that funds are dedicated to advancing the specific initiatives that contribute to the betterment of the Helena community, though HACF does retain a modest administrative fee for our efforts.

If you are seeking fiscal sponsorship for a project in the greater Helena area and would like to be considered by the Helena Area Community Foundation, please reach out to executive director at [email protected].

Threshold of Life Memorial for Organ Donation

“A Symbol of Hope for Those in Waiting”

To recognize those who give the Ultimate Gift of life, the Governor’s Office of Community Service, alongside lead architect and artist Ken VanDeWalle are working to create a permanent memorial on the Capitol Grounds in Helena Montana.

In 2023, this memorial was approved in accordance with House Bill 585, which states that the cost of procurement, installation,  and maintenance of the memorial must be paid for from private funds. With all goal of raising $500,000 in the next three years, this project will serve to honor those who gave others life.

**This project is powered by the Helena Area Community Foundation, EIN 81-0536902. Donations will be processed by the Helena Area Community Foundation
