Emily Frazier, Executive Director
Emily Frazier, CFRE, is a Helena native and a nonprofit nerd. She has spent over a decade working in the field in outreach, grant writing, fundraising, operations, and membership. She has her master’s degree in Philanthropy and Development from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, is a Certified Fund Raising Executive, and loves connecting people to causes they care about. Emily has worked in the nonprofit sector for over 15 years, first with the Student Assistance Foundation (now Reach Higher Montana) and the Montana Nonprofit Association.
Emily is a 2021 graduate of Leadership Montana, and was selected as one of Helena’s 20 under 40 in 2021.
She is thrilled to be the Helena Area Community Foundation’s Executive Director, where she will continue to focus on supporting nonprofits in her hometown.
She lives with her husband, Eric, and her dog, Hershel.
Nora Higgins, Greater Helena Gives Intern
Nora Higgins was born and raised in Helena, Montana. She attended Jefferson Elementary, Helena Middle School and graduated from Helena High School in 2018 .Growing up in Helena, Nora did ballet, skied, and played volleyball.
After spending two years at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln, she moved back to Montana to attend Carroll College. Nora will graduate in May 2022 with a degree in Business Management and Marketing.
In her free time as a college senior, she enjoys reading, watching her younger brother play basketball and baseball, hanging out with her family, and being secretary of the ZinnStarter board at Carroll.
Nora is excited for the opportunity to work with the Helena Area Community Foundation as their Greater Helena Gives intern and help raise money for local nonprofits in the community.
